Professional Civil Liability of the National Union of Professional Canoe-Kayak Guides
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between independent guides and instructors representing Zen River Camp, specializing in whitewater and wellness activities, and their clients. By booking an activity or purchasing products or services related to these activities, the client accepts the following terms & conditions.
Object
These conditions of sale apply to all services and products offered by Zen River Camp as part of outdoor sports activities such as [list of activities: Rafting, Kayak, Packraft, Yoga, SUP].
Booking & Payment

Reservations: Reservations can be made online via our website, by telephone or directly at our activity base.

Booking confirmation: The booking is confirmed once the customer has paid a deposit or the full amount, depending on the option chosen*

Payment: Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer or cash. Checks are not accepted. Full payment must be made before the activity begins, unless otherwise specified.

Booking an activity does not confirm that the activity can take place as planned, so instructors or guides may, at any time, choose a more suitable activity or section.
Rates and Validity

The prices of the activities are indicated on our website or in the dedicated brochure.

Prices are inclusive of VAT and show VAT amounts at 0%, 10%, 20% and special rates.

They include sports instruction supervised by qualified instructors, suitable technical equipment and transport from the base to the activity locations.

Cancellation and Modifications

Cancellation by the customer:
-
More than 24 hours before the activity: full refund or possibility of rescheduling without charge.

Less than 24 hours before the activity: no refund, but possibility of rescheduling the activity depending on availability.

No-show at the activity: no refund possible.

Cancellation by Zen River Camp: In case of cancellation of the activity due to hydro-meteorological, security or any other cause beyond the control of the company, a full refund or rescheduling of the activity will be offered.
Responsibility and Safety

Customer Responsibility: The customer agrees to respect the safety instructions given by the instructor or guide throughout the activity. He is also responsible for his own safety and that of the minors under his responsibility.

Corporate Responsibility: Zen River Camp implements all necessary means to ensure the safety of participants, in accordance with current standards and the "Code du Sport".

Zen River Camp declines all responsibility in the event of an accident occurring outside the framework defined by the activity (for example, reckless behavior, failure to follow instructions, etc.).
Insurance

Zen River Camp and all persons represented by it are covered by professional liability insurance, which covers damage caused by its personnel during activities.

It is recommended that each participant has insurance covering the practice of outdoor sporting activities, particularly white water activities.
Conditions of Participation

Some activities may require a specific physical or technical level. Customers must ensure that they meet the necessary requirements to participate (age, physical condition, etc.).

Minors must be accompanied by an adult and have parental permission to participate in certain activities.

All participants in aquatic activities confirm that they know how to swim. A swimming test can be carried out at the camp in accordance with the "Code du Sport" for €25.
Equipment ownership

The equipment provided by Zen River Camp (helmets, neoprene, vest, etc.) remains the property of the company. The customer agrees to take care of the equipment and return it in good condition. In case of loss or damage, replacement costs will be applied.
Force Majeure

In case of force majeure (extreme hydro-meteorological conditions, strikes, natural disasters, etc.), Zen River Camp reserves the right to suspend or cancel the activity. The client will be informed as soon as possible and will be able to benefit from a rescheduling or a refund.
Intellectual Property

Any image, video, or content produced during the activities and concerning Zen River Camp remains the exclusive property of the latter. The client agrees that photos or videos taken during the activity may be used for promotional purposes. Photos and videos of the activities may be purchased at the reception.
Personal Data

Personal data collected during the booking process are processed in accordance with our privacy policy. This information is necessary for the management of the booking and the security of the activities. The customer can request access, rectification or deletion of their personal data by contacting customer service.
Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the customer can contact Zen River Camp customer service to try to resolve the problem amicably.

If no amicable solution is found, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts.
